1.Global Occupational Health and Safety Workshop by IIHSE & IHSE

In today’s working environment, occupational health and safety (OHS) is not only a legal obligation but also a fundamental pillar of sustainable working conditions. However, challenges in OHS practices, gaps in legislation, and practical issues encountered in the field necessitate the development of effective solutions.

In this regard, the Occupational Health and Safety Workshop, which will bring together industry professionals, academics, occupational safety experts, and all relevant stakeholders, aims to address current issues faced in the field and develop practical solutions.

OBJECTIVES OF THE WORKSHOP

• Identifying key challenges in occupational health and safety,

• Evaluating the difficulties in implementing OHS regulations,

• Offering solutions to the professional challenges faced by OHS practitioners,

• Proposing innovative approaches to enhance the occupational health and safety culture,

• Developing strategies to improve the effectiveness of inspection processes.

The international segment of the event will be conducted in English on May 4, 2025, as part of this workshop.

The national segment will be held in Turkish on April 28, 2025, in honor of World OHS Day.

At the conclusion of the workshop, a final declaration will be published and shared with policymakers, relevant authorities, and the entire sector.
