Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to ensure Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE)-related fiduciary duties are managed. Each day, you will maintain leadership, expertise, and optimized support in HSE for an assigned country or cluster of countries. You will also showcase your expertise by representing ABB externally in HSE matters when interacting with customers, local authorities, and other stakeholders. The work model for the role is: #LI-Hybrid This role is contributing to the business areas in Croatia & Serbia.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Building a strong foundation for the implementation of ABB Group policies and the HSE & Security Accountability Framework
- Supporting in the collection and preparation of fiduciary performance reports.
- Ensuring proper management of fiduciary HSE duties.
- Assisting the country management team in understanding their obligations, liabilities, and requirements for role fulfillment, as per local HSE law and ABB management requirements.You will join a dynamic, talented and high performing team, where you will be able to thrive.
Qualifications for the role
- You are highly skilled in combining technical expertise with the ability to explain complex issues and work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Ability to demonstrate your experience in occupational health and safety (min. 5 years)
- Possess an enhanced knowledge of HSE tools and ISO Standards
- Degree in Engineering field or related to Health-Safety-Environment
- You are at ease communicating in Croatian & English
- Ideally, you have direct or indirect management experience and are enthusiastic about proactive communication.
- A collaborative, solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills.
