Student Members

Our student members may apply to participate in technical visits (subject to availability), attend free or discounted training programs, and take active roles in volunteer projects to gain practical experience.

They can also participate in R&D projects, follow related reports, and become part of an international youth network, connecting with young professionals from different countries.

IIHSE Career Center

The IIHSE Career Center guides our members in finding the right career opportunities through job postings, internship programs, and international collaborations.

Members who are currently unemployed are provided with priority access to job search training and individual career counseling support.

However, please note that the Institute does not operate as a corporate recruitment or employment agency — we do not directly mediate between companies and candidates for hiring purposes.

Career Support for Members

When our members experience unemployment, the IIHSE Career Center becomes actively involved to provide comprehensive support.

Members receive CV consulting, interview preparation, mentorship, and training on how to apply to companies within IIHSE’s global network.

Additionally, discounted individual training and career coaching are available upon request.

However, please note that IIHSE does not guarantee employment and does not act as an intermediary in recruitment processes for companies.

Membership at IIHSE

Membership at IIHSE operates on a subscription-based system with three categories: Student, Professional, and Corporate memberships.

Current fees are specified within the application forms.

It is important to note that IHSE and IIHSE are distinct institutes, and membership to each must be obtained separately, depending on your professional goals and areas of interest.

By becoming a member of IIHSE, our international institute, you gain access to international seminars, fairs, webinars, and project activities.

Members benefit from priority registration and discounted participation fees.

After your membership is approved, a personalized discount code will be assigned to you.

This code allows discounted access to standards, reports, training materials, and research publications.

In our mentorship program, experienced members voluntarily guide young professionals.

Upon becoming a member, you can apply as a mentor or mentee and participate in the program.

Only the CPD (Continuing Professional Development) system provided by IIHSE, our international institute, allows you to earn points through participation in training, volunteer activities, and mentorship programs.

When you reach the minimum annual points, a report is prepared documenting your professional and educational development, and you receive a certified CPD report.

Please note that our national institute does not currently offer such a system.

CPD (Continuing Professional Development) System at IIHSE

To receive a certified CPD report at IIHSE, you must record your activities throughout the year and reach the minimum annual CPD points.

Point Allocation:

  • Mentorship (2 points/hour):
Earn points by mentoring young professionals in your field.
(Example: 5 hours of mentorship = 10 points)

  • Volunteering / Social Responsibility (1.5 points/hour):
Participate in IIHSE’s social responsibility projects or community events.
(Example: 10 hours of volunteering = 15 points)

  • Training / Webinar / Course (1 point/hour):
Earn points for attending trainings, seminars, and webinars.
(Example: 15 hours of training = 15 points)

Minimum Annual CPD Points: 40

You can achieve the required points through various combinations. For example:

  • 5 hours mentorship (10 points) + 10 hours volunteering (15 points) + 15 hours training (15 points) = 40 points

When you record all activities in IIHSE’s CPD tracking system, the system automatically calculates your total at the end of the year. Upon reaching the minimum 40 points, your Certified CPD Report is generated and added to your membership profile.

Note: Activities carried out outside of IIHSE or IHSE supervision (mentorship, volunteering, training, etc.) will be counted at 50% of the standard points.

IIHSE CPD Report

The IIHSE CPD report records members’ participation in training, mentorship, and volunteer activities in accordance with international standards.

Although the report is not automatically recognized by institutions such as IOSH or IIRSM, it is regarded as a strong reference document for international job applications, audits, and professional advancement.

IIHSE collaborates with organizations operating globally in the fields of occupational health, safety, and environment. As a result, your CPD report:

  • Demonstrates your professional development in international job applications

  • Serves as a supporting document for academic or professional applications

  • Is prepared in a format compatible with international CPD systems

IIHSE’s goal is to achieve mutual recognition of CPD reports with organizations such as IOSH, IIRSM, and similar institutions in the medium term, further strengthening the credibility of our members’ documentation.

Membership Levels and Professional Titles at IIHSE

Members initially join at entry-level membership categories based on their education and professional background, such as AIHSE or TechIHSE.

After three years of CPD reporting, members are promoted to the SIHSE title.

Considering CPD achievements and sectoral contributions at this membership level, members who accumulate five years of professional experience become eligible for the highest-level title, FIHSE.

Membership durations and professional titles are aligned with international standards and practices to ensure consistency with other global professional organizations.

Our standard membership fee is USD 260. However, based on your country and individual purchasing power, we can offer a discounted rate of up to USD 245. Consequently, the minimum membership fee can be as low as USD 15.

For unemployed professionals and students under the age of 24, no membership fee is required in exchange for annual volunteer service, until they return to employment or complete their studies.
